Not much to say about this one. I remember having fun Friday night, then dealing with the worst hangover in human history on Saturday.

Things are really moving along now. If we can keep throwing 12 hour saturdays at this thing, we should easily have it rolling again in the spring of 2035.

Metal was melted, and there was much rejoicing…

I doubt that I’ll ever get into the swing of timely updates on this thing. No matter. I’m going to try to condense the last year or so into a few sentences…

In the previous episode, our intrepid heroes are feeling pretty good about themselves after avoiding turning the F-1 into a rolling molotov cocktail, and are ready to get back on the road. Hey, it’s my blog, I’m allowed to call myself an intrepid hero!

Sadly, no Jalopy Showdown antics this year. Instead of hitting the showdown as we had planned even up through Thursday night, Friday am Joel and I made the call to get on the road to Ohio to go look at a new project, a 1950 Ford F-1.

Kinda bummed. I thought I was going to get a few hours with the RD guys to play around in Mike’s shop doing greasy things. Looks that is getting pushed off for another week. Oh well, maybe the little woman and I will get a look at some garages houses this afternoon.

This weekend is shaping up to be a good one. Minus the torrential downpour of course.
